Remote controlled ball pit for 40C3 (Brainstorming & orga)

Leipzig congress had a ball pit on wheels - which was a lot of fun to ride around in! With 40c3 going back to a space with lots of flat same level area (at Hamburger Messe), it’s a great chance to revive the ball pit idea and upgrade it.

The core idea:

• building a ball pit, for 2-3 people (smaller than the Leizpiger version, but should be more practical to build and transport)
• motorized (using hoverboard motors?)
• remote controllable via a web app (including fun multi player modes. Because who said a ride should be straight forward? The trip is the goal :D) - with optional game controller input
• distance sensors and auto break functionality to prevent crashing into people, walls and objects

And ideally:

• autonomous driving
• incl. ride haling
